Brand ambassador is a person who is happy to help promote your products or service
The key element of brand ambassadors lies in their ability to use promotional strategies that will strengthen the customer-product/service relationship and influence a large audience to buy and consume more.
Predominantly, a brand ambassador is known as a positive spokesperson appointed as an internal or external agent to boost product/service sales and create brand awareness. Today, brand ambassador as a term has expanded beyond celebrity branding to self branding or personal brand management.
But lets look a little closer to home…you may have a friend or family member who would happily become your brand ambassador.
Who do you know a person that sings your praises? Who regularly recommends you to their friends? Who loves your business like it’s their own? You may not realise it, but there is at least one other person out there that really loves your work almost as much as you do.
You need to grab a coffee with this person. Just have a little catch up and ask them would they consider becoming your local brand ambassador. This doesn’t mean you are offering to pay for their time whilst they recommend your business to others, but perhaps you could offer something as a thank you for their referral business.
This is thinking outside the box, now go and get creative and champion those that get excited about your brand. If nothing else this is marketing gold dust.
